To say that I was over the moon excited to receive this order is an understatement. I have worked with this customer several times before. I truly appreciate my loyal customers! She reached out to me mid-October and wanted to work together to create a king size Cozy Carmel blanket for her bedroom. We collaborated on color choices, patterns, and dimensions and I could not be more pleased with the final product. This morning I did a photo shoot with one my be besties (isn’t her bedroom spectacular) and I’m excited to hear what you think!

So some of you may have seen on my TikTok or Instagram stories that I started with a chain of 70! I measured out to 108” and then just keep going from there. I was able to start on a table but quickly moved to the floor because the blanket became very big, very fast! I used approximately 25 skeins of yarn! I typically buy my yarn from Michaels but the tan and country blue that you see in this blanket are from Amazon (linked here). Technically this blanket is machine washable but I don’t know of a household washing machine that could wash this so I’m thinking it will need to be spot cleaned.

This video is of me finally finishing this master piece! I was so excited to finish so that I could see the final product (and get my living room floor back). I was just about done on Friday and fell short 1 skein of yarn, oof! So I hopped onto Amazon and it arrived Saturday morning- love the quick turn around! Today I took our king size Cozy Carmel on a field trip up the street to shoot content in my friend’s beautiful bedroom!

Here she is! I’m not going to lie- I wanted to curl up and enjoy that coffee and muffin with a holiday Hallmark movie! How elegant and cozy does this look! I love the way she chose tan and country blue for her accent colors. Here you see the blanket all the way to the floor but on a California king, or on a king size bed that is raised, it won’t hang on the floor. I am obsessed!

Here is a picture of the blanket pulled all the way up! This just screams cozy elegance for those cool nights that are just around the corner. This pattern incorporates just the right amount of accent colors to tie in all aspects of the bedroom.
