Crutches, 🧶Blanket Parties & A Long Weekend🍁!
It was bound to happen. He is going to be 15 (🤪)on Wednesday and has never had an injury which is so hard to believe considering he is involved is every sport imaginable and NEVER sits still. Last Saturday, in the second play of the football game, he caught a pass, made the run, and was inevitably tackled. His right ankle is sprained with a small fracture (the x ray is pretty cool). He is in the walking boot with crutches until we have our follow up on Wednesday (yes, on his birthday). I do feel bad for him but he is cruising around on his crutches like a champ and hasn't missed a beat. He still goes to tackle practice (to watch) and cheered on his flag football team last night (who won in overtime!) Please send good thoughts our way for a speedy recovery!
A Gracious Soul hosted a Cozy Carmel blanket making class last night and it was INCREDIBLE! What a great group of ladies- the positive energy was contagious and everyone left with a homemade cozy blanket! We spent two hours sipping Champagne, snacking on pretzels and chocolate, learning, laughing and getting to know each other! I highly recommend blanket making classes for team building, birthday parties, shower ideas & workshops! It is a perfect night out or a great excuse to host a girls night at your house! The ladies last night kept commenting on how relaxing and therapeutic it felt! Check out their work (it was their FIRST time hand knitting one of these blankets!)
We had 3 neutral colors to choose from- tan, cream & grey. We were just getting started here!
