Now I focus more on a balanced work-out routine throughout the week. I still love to run- outside and on the Peloton! I have the Peloton plus tread in my basement and I'm obsessed! I also love pilates and weight training. A typical week might look like:
Monday: Peloton tread boot camp (combo of running and weights) 30 minutes {go to instructor Jess Sims}
Tuesday: Peloton full body strength (heavy weights) 20-30 minutes {Jess Sims or Rebecca Kennedy}
Wednesday: Peloton endurance or interval run - 20-30 minutes {Robin Arzon or Jess Sims} followed by quick arms/abs
Thursday: Peloton hike book camp 20-45 minutes {Rebecca Kennedy} followed by quick arms/abs
Friday: I try to run outside, especially in this amazing New England fall weather- anywhere from 3-5 miles. Sometimes it is a run/walk.
Saturday/Sunday: One of these is typically a day off and one day is pilates (with Kristin McGee) or a long walk outside.
I also sprinkle in neighborhood walks here and there. I love to talk around my neighborhood- I can easily walk 2-4 miles listening to some of my favorite pod casts.
Today I did Peloton pilates (pic above) in the leggings I've been telling you about! They look just like lulus right?! These are the leggings I get on Amazon (I wore the dusty red to my son's game Friday night) - they are only $23! I'm wearing the charcoal grey in the picture above, size small. You won't regret it! Buttery soft, high waist that stays up, they wash/dry so well and don't fade!
It is so important to move your body, release those endorphins....and stretch, don't forget to stretch! I hope you all have a rejuvenating Sunday.
xo,
Stacey
