Life Lately…..

Happy Monday & Happy Fall! The beginning of the school year is always crazy! Last week I had 2 open houses for my boys- one in 8th grade (last year in middle school) and my first high school open house! Honestly, I was a little nervous to go to high school open house, weird right? It’s a big school! Surprisingly, it wasn’t that bad. I actually enjoyed it and like that I know what daily life looks like for my older guy. The teachers were awesome! That being said, this is the most difficult transition he has had to date- balancing all of the things for him is HARD! He is used to being a straight A kiddo and naturally good at whatever he tries and high school has been like a punch in the gut. The work load is aggressive and he is having a difficult time keeping up. We are having the hard conversations and I’m working with him on time management skills and stressing the importance of BALANCE- school, sports, family, friends, & sleep all matter! I’m glad that he is talking to me and we can work on it together! Football has been a fun adjustment for me lol-

#41 🤍 debriefing after the game last week- when did he get so big?!

Caiden's biggest fans!

I love these personalized lanyards that they make for parents! On the other side there is a list of all of the players by number so we know who to cheer for- super helpful! GO EG!!!!!

I love decorating for fall! This weekend I went to 2 of my local farms and dove into fall head first! I’m talking corn stalks, mums, pumpkins and asters (my new favorite fall flower). The pumpkin spice candles are in full effect, windows are open and pumpkin coffee is brewing!

The purple flowers are the asters- I had never heard of them before but they are my new favorite fall flower! The leaves are prettier than mum leaves (sorry mums)....and can we talk about that new door mat- how perfect for me!

I"m a big fan of these green pumpkins and, of course, the mini white ones- they are all over my house!

Have a great day!

xo,

Stacey
